One of the missions of the Maricopa County Fair, Inc. is to promote education to youth. The Scholarship Program (Educational Grant) is just one of the ways to accomplish this mission. In 2024 the fair awarded a total of $107,000 in scholarships to 16 deserving youth.
Participation Requirements: Must be a High School Senior, or will be attending your first year of college as a full time student (min 12 credits), are less than 22 years of age, a resident of Maricopa County, have participated in the Maricopa County Fair at least 2 times including the year of application and have a grade point average of 2.5 or greater, you may qualify to receive a scholarship. Application Deadline will be February 22, 2025.
Plan ahead! You can meet your participation requirement by entering an exhibit in any department at the fair or volunteering to work at the fair or in the fair office.

KEVIN ROGERS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Unfortunately, on April 13th we lost a dear friend to our county fair. Kevin Rogers passed away unexpectedly. He was a board member, past president, and long time supporter of our youth.
In his memory, we have created the Kevin Rogers Memorial Scholarship. If you would like to donate, please mail your check (made payable to Maricopa County Fair with Kevin Rogers in the memo line) to Maricopa County Fair 1826 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85007. If you would like to donate and pay with a credit card, please email [email protected]. An e-invoice will be emailed to you. There is a 3% fee for using a credit card.
Remember, all donations go directly to the scholarship fund and are tax deductible!

- Current letter of recommendation from an individual familiar with your achievements. (Letter must be dated after December 1, 2024. (Examples: 4-H leader, FFA advisor, school or community letter.)
